The GAA's 125th anniversary celebration held at Croke Park Stadium in Dublin, Ireland on 31/1/09 after the Dublin v. Tyrone game. We witnessed a spectacular light show, but unfortunately weren't in a position to view the fireworks. It was Unbelievable...the sheer magnitude and energy of the crowd. Almost 80,000 people in attendance!!!

  • @bapfontein GAA has nothing to do with the IRA you idiot! The GAA is about Nationalism, not Sectarianism. Im a GAA fan all my life but i dont support the IRA. Besides, you telling me that combat 18 and the skinheads dont exist in the FA? Dont be foolish!

  • that night unreal,it shows ye that the GAA can put on a great show wen they want

  • @bapfontein Shut up, no one cares what you have to say. . .get over it!

  • @bapfontein and no one cares ...?

  • IRELAND THE BEST COUNTRY !

  • @bapfontein thats why we love em ;) :D

  • The GAA the sporting wing of the IRA. How can anyone take th GAA serious when they helped fund the teror gangs of the IRA in the recent sectarian troubles in N. Ireland. The GAA from top to bottom is awash with IRA terrorist. . No other sporting body in the world has such a black and shady history. The GAA is a semi political/religious terror funding body that has sullied the name of sport in Ireland.

  • do you have nothing else to do than slagging of your national sport?

  • person slaggings so NO you have NOT proved a point on anything. I do recognise the church had involvement in the GAA as it had in education in Ireland - I know my own club saying is UP THE PARISH! but unlike what you seem to think the GAA welcomes all Creeds and Colours into the fold. Maybe you should learn to be more tolerant of other peoples choices. As i said before Bapfontein you should learn to love and rid yourself of all this hate you carry for no obvious reason!
