Siyafunda Research Base offers you a unique experience in the African bush that gives you the opportunity to observe & be a part of the research & monitoring teams on the Greater Makalali Private Game Reserve.
The Siyafunda Bush Experience is ideal if you want to truly experience the "wild" side of Africa. The program is based in the 26,000 hectare Greater Makalali Private Game Reserve, home to the Africa's "Big Five" - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino & buffalo. You will live in the heart of Africa in your eco-friendly tented camp which is set amongst trees overlooking a water course in a magical, out-of-the-way spot, providing a real wilderness experience.
