Somehow a skateboarder was able to take over a warehouse in the seediest part of Baltimore and turn it into a most charming park. As Jason Chapman, owner of Charm City Skateboard Park and Shop, says: "I love Baltimore so much, wanted to stay in Baltimore and do something for the sport and kids. They needed a place to skate and get boards - pretty reasonable. Skateboarders have always been outlaw types. It;'s not like a team sport, it pushed individuality and different kinds of people. We accept everybody. We have big events every year, try to bring out as many people as we can.
