Celebrating all God has done through the 20/20 Vision Initiative @ Second Avenue UMC, in Altoona, PA!
This month we celebrate the $200,000 milestone, living sacrificially in tough economic times!
The 20/20 Vision Initiative has focused primarily on 4 main improvement areas that will make Second Avenue a more welcoming space for its visitors...
1. Air Conditioning
2. Parking
3. Sunday School Classroom spaces
4. Elevator- handicap accessibility- This component is still in process and we are now focusing completely in the direction of getting the elevator installed.
Additionally, 20% of all funds that have come in have gone straight back out to missions in the world, hoping to live out Jesus' call to "love our neighbors like ourselves."
