why are line taps illegal???

lucky, outboard here go for $400 at least for a old used up one or $100 for a non working one, but i think over there is worth less since theres less lakes then here in canada
-
everything in Australia is overpriced.
-
@OlegKostoglatov yeh its all dependent on the market.. the vintage boat enthusiasts go nuts for these real old style outboards!
-
@OlegKostoglatov lol yeh I have a number of parts in my chest-freezer electrolysis tank at the moment :D, sitting on about 20A @ 24V DC :D

With regard to the Johnson Sea Horse you might get $800 for it in Australia but you certainly wouldn't get that where I am, even in nice condition like that.
-
If those were dealer's prices you were quoting on the fuel filters the $18 each price doesn't surprise me, dealers are always like that and prices for European car parts are the worst. The mail order parts outlets in Canada are just about worthless, bad service, bad selection, not all are overpriced but so many are that you may as well go ahead and order from the U.S. They always plead about the Canadian distribution system as an excuse but it's B.S.

@Nighthawke70 Ed is the king of electrolytic rust stripping here on You Tube, just do a search under "electrolysis" and no less then six videos will come back with aussie50 on them.

Good to see you got the line taps. I can never make sense why they would outlaw some things.
Made in China, shipped to the UK... sold to someone in Australia ;-)
