@GarbageRock Not a complete asshole, he was one of the first major influences in the American black rights movement. Apart from that I think he was an asshole.

I was at one of Randy's concerts in the mid-seventies with my best buds. Just before the line, "Go on and love me, I don't care", my friend, Kim, (who wasn't as clued in to Newman as some of us) yelled, "I love you Randy!!!!. Hilarious. Love it.
