Haha that always happens. You could change rings and bearings yourself then later. It sounds fine man. I've seen a 318 Valiant with over 200,000 miles and was still going strong. Tell the gf you need to save some money for the beast haha. > look forward to the videos. Take it easy my man. All the best
@DRJIVAN Haha change of plan im now an apprentice and have a gf....dont have much money atm....but shes still running well for 140, 000 km....will post some more videos soon!!!
@Mopar265HEMI Thanks man. It is a nice car. The odd scratch and chip in the paint but she is over 40 years old. She is part of the family now. My oldman and uncle got their licences in that car that's how old the bloody thing is haha. Good on you for doing the rebuild. How's the motor running at 140k? Keep in touch. Jivan
@DRJIVAN Nice man sounds like a neat ride....yer mines the auto and the ol slant has done 140, 000 miles....rego runs out this months so out comes the motor to get rebuilt...YEW!!!
Nice car! Great paint job. We still have my grandfather's 69 VF 225 Slant from brand new. Original paint and motor etc. Metallic maroon with 3 speed manual. Done 49,000 miles. How many has yours done? Sounds like you have the automatic?
