Well, the camaro driver has to be happy. He beat Jeremy Clarksons best time in a NSX with a "fat american car". :)

is that thing bone stock with exhaust or is it cammed and stuff? awesome vid.. how hard does track racing wear our suspension/brake/miscellaneous components? Check my Camaro vids.. thanks - mitch

Thats not SCCA its NASA. The series is called the Camaro Mustang Challenge and the drivers name is Nick Steel. The series runs completely STOCK late model Camaros and Mustangs. That video is at least 10 yrs old and the car was sold and later wrecked.

Striaght cut gears in the Trans are a awesome sound. It like listening to a blower spool up.

I'm a race track noob I've only seen Lagina Seca through wideo games. I always wondered how a 3rd gen would handle that crazy turn at 1:16

I am a s.f/sac SCCA member, icame across this video a year ago and it's been sitting on my computer awaiting the light of day, i don't have any info on who recorded or raced this but yeah i'm guessing SCCA event. It's pretty easy and fun to get out do something like this. sfrscca . org -- I'm glad everyone enjoyed this.
