I always knew Fox news was a joke! They made a big joke of the story with their tone of reporting. By the way, what does an astronomer know about aeronatical engineering?

Today's lesson, kiddies....Fox news is biased, and astronomers are knowlegeable about astronomy, not aviation, aeronautical engineering, etc.

"Humans make extraordinarily poor witnesses"? An odd statement from a sceptic who presumably doesn't believe in UFOs or non human, intelligent lifeforms. I mean what other sort of intelligent witness are there apart from humans? Is this guy an alien himself, or is he just too stupid to understand the implication of such a statement? The mind boggles.

Looks a lot like quote mining on both sides by Fox. I wonder how many of those clips were taken completely out of context for the purpose of sensationalism.

I tend to believe that things that once seemed impossible, become quite possible as we evolve as a species. Our view of Mars today is very different from our view of Mars 10 years ago. 20 years ago a scientist would risk career suicide if he/she believed in life outside our planet. Now most scientists would argue that it's just a matter of time before we find it.

I tend to believe that it's found us.

The line, "humans make poor witnesses" is a common line thrown around by skeptics. YouTube "Larry King UFO Missile". It's an interesting interview in which a Lieutenant involved in a missile test was shown footage of a U.F.O. disabling his missile in mid air. Mr. Wizard comes on the show as a skeptic and treats the Lieutenant as if he was some sort of clown off the street. My point is that you can have all the evidence in the world and skeptics will continue to be.

okay i might not be the brightest person, or the stupidest, but i believe their is life out there, people don't know what it is, nor the government because , they don't know what going on either, out of all the ufo videos on youtube, some of them is real. ufo's are doing nothing because they don't know what we are. go figure everyone, maybe their just like us, but better at technology, are computers upgrade technology every 2 times, like 2,4,16,256,65'536, etc.
