  • wish this message could get out to the masses without a conservative being used to discredit it to those who don not understand science , but think that being a democrat makes them intelligent.

  • Scientist don't make millions of dollars on grants. The grants may be FOR a million dollars or more, but the university takes up to 30% right off the top for 'operating costs'. That number varies with the institution and can be more. The remainder is spent over as much as 5 years (depending on the grant) on equipment (not cheap) and graduate student salaries over that period. Profs are limited to how much they can pay themselves out of grants, typically 5-10% of their salary.

  • The widespread use of the term "deniers" is a sign of religious blind faith in an ideology. It's like someone just told these people that the earth isn't flat after all...

Might as well be called the Church of Climate Change, formerly the Church of Global Warming, formerly the Church of Global Cooling.

I feel shame for the institution of science which has been over-run by dogmatic idiots who act like rabid fundamentalists.

  • @IGOROZKARSKY

Nature has ite way of survival. Nature has its rule and if you do not understand the rule, do not complain, its your ignorence.

Read about what volcano do for you, it brings fertile soils so human can plant crops.

Nature's behaviour is tied very much to how the human's behave.

The four element of earth is related to four emotions in our heart.

Its our heart that is getting less compassionate, less peaceful, less kindness, less considerate and results in these desasters.

  • @3rdEyeSpeaks

Thank you for the kiind comment.

Yes, the ultimately where does nature comes from? Where do we come from? The more you are closer to nature, the more you are nearer to GOD. You might not agree, but yes, it will also bring us nearer to our buddha nature. the God Like nature.

(I hope you do open your heart and learned that so call "buddha nature", the definition of it, is "GOD" nature.)

  • @LeeKwangEng i like your writing, i agree, with every action we should ask ourselves "does it bring us closer to God or away from God" however, suffering is derived from denying our desires. and suffering is exercise for the soul, the strongest souls are forged in the toughest places. like a diamond. peace man

  • Human do not know the true nature of one's action will have a consequences.

The ultimately human must know to live with harmony with nature, with each other, with oneself. Ultimately Buddha's teaching of compassion is the solution.

  • All suffering are originated from our own desires.

The desire does give us aeroplane, but that does not bring human spirit any closer than before.

The desire to have convenient, does give us many use and throw stuffs, but this will drive the plant to extiction.

The desire to eat meat, drive the farmer to use 70% of the crops to feed the animals for the unlimited mouth of the rich but leave the poor to hunger.

Live simple, living in a more meaningful ways by giving.

    Compassion is e key!
