Carl Wilson doing his single from his second solo album "Youngblood" in Seattle. Strange in a way to see him without his guitar.

  • awesome .thx, why was it not called beach boys 'so tough'.

  • @gailmckennag Carl did at lot of production work on that album, so the band used the title as a kind of "thank you". "Carl and the passions" was the name of Carl's school band before the beach boys.

  • was carl's first cd called - carl and the passions - i had it and sold it and i want it again.

  • @gailmckennag No, Carl and the passions (so tough) was a Beach Boys Album from 1972. Carl's solo albums were called Carl Wilson (1981) and Youngblood (1983). What you do to me is on the second one.

  • Carl was/is/will always be a STAR. He anchored that band to the earth for all of his precious years, as long as he was up there it was gonna be alright. I think he looks cool up there without the constraints of the guitar, though his playing is missed and I wouldn't recommend it on an every-song basis. Thanks for the video :)

  • At 1:15 thats Brian in the yellow shirt in back ground.

  • Terrible song!!! Terrible voice... And what's happening on 1:15?

  • @Okiemom50 Must have been awfully distracting trying to be a serious musician up on the stage at some of the Beach Boys touring years.

I saw Brian Wilson go sleep behind the speakers at one show in the 80´s.

  • es buenísimo el look "me pongo los shortcitos y me voy a jugar al tenis, de ahí a tocar, de ahí a natación, de ahí al bowling". abajo los músicos drogones; al jardine tiene actitud!

  • @claromarago

If you notice, Mike & Brian go behind the others on stage and consult with Eugene Landy...probably about Brian's meds or something. lol.

Brian is trapsing around as if he's oblivious to the fact that an audience is watching his every move. lol

Must have been awfully distracting for Carl trying to sing his solo. RIP - Carl.
