Re: Weezer/Veruca Salt: I think the story is: Weezer had a very early "founding member and they were going to bring him into the band again. They told him it was "his" band and he supposedly said, "All right, I'm gonna fire them and hire Veruca Salt to be Weezer, and so Weezer bailed on the idea and Pavement picked it up.

Dude if weezer appeared on this music video I probably would have shitted my pants and would've started crying. I knew that I noticed that ending scene with the girls, it's an exact copy of Weezer's Undone the sweater song. It kind of dissappoints me that they didn't do it though. :(

Holy crap, Weezer and Pavement were at one points almost friendly enough with each other to work on a video together!? This blows my mind, and disappoints me that a Pavement reunion is very unlikely before 2009.
