So glad I found this video now, first time seeing this race. I LOVE this filly. The great Rachel A. That's a great horse who can run on fast or sloppy tracks. So much heart and class. What a 3yr old season, she made History.

Every single race she goes in she steps up, she really got to her peak even more in April and May. The more races the better she got. She seemed a little green in this race, compared to her races after this. And it's very good that Calvin eased her to the wire because she was gonna race 19 days later in the fantasy, which she did easily, and for the oaks she was loaded.

i remeber they were giving calvin shit about that haha when he geared her down. im pretty sure calvin knos he was already gunna win he peaked behind him. lolz calvin is an amazing jockey =)
