I'm using the metric system. So im always refering to kW, Nm, Km/h, kg, etc...

Fully modded and setup the specs for my Cuda are:
1342 kg
616 kW @5400
1226 Nm @3400

I think the key for the wheelie is the really high torque at those low rpm's and the ridicilous high amount of toe in the rear which seems to improve grip und acceleration quite a bit. Also the gearing has to be spot on to keep the wheels from spinning too much. A little bit of slip is what we want under full power. The tyres shouldn't get red when accelerating, as this is the point the grip falls off.

To make a wheelie with the above set there are two ways to do it.
1. Standing Start:
At a full stop apply the handbrake. Apply Full Throttle. Let the handbrake go. As soon as you hit 30 km/h shift to second gear. Foot stays down all the time. Timing is crucial here. But its easy with a little bit of practice.

2. Rolling start:
Roll down a straight in second gear at 30 km/h. Apply full throttle as fast as you can. Watch your front raise

All my testing has been done offline at the Top Gear Test Track.

Let me know if you have success with this and if you are able to replicate this with a different car!

  • The transmission settings shown in the description are all wrong, my 1st gear only goes upto 1,500 where as yours goes upto 4.393and its the same with my other gears. Am I doing somethinh wrong?

  • @3IGGB0SS try to adjust the top speed to 190 kph (~118 mph) before trying to set your gears... then start with the final drive ratio, and end with the gear settings. hope that solves your problem...

  • @MaxVelo55 When u put 2.500 @ 118 mph max in gear 1 is 4.307

  • @MaxVelo55 i know you didnt talk about damage, but you're using stupid things to say how this game fails when it's not that big of a deal... at all

  • @geterhero Don't missunderstand me.

I like GT5 how it is. And I never said one thing about damage.

  • @MaxVelo55 tire pressure isnt that big of a deal to downgrade GT5 from a sim to an arcade, you're starting to sound like one of those guys that thinks that damage is a complete dealbreaker

  • Wats ur max speed set up to?

  • I did do a wellie with my cuda fuking sik

  • cant find the car lol i want to do this but i wish i could buy or find the car

  • @MaxVelo55 k thx

  • @stinngs120 Well, I can't give you an answer to this question, because I haven't developed that game. And yes GT5 is a GAME not a SIM. Think about it, you can't even adjust tire pressures in GT5 which is a key factor of the car setup in real life. But back to your question, if you have a look at the gtplanet forum, its pretty much a fact, that online vs offline is different. Even to the extend that some setups for cars which were developed offline don't work at all online. I don't know why. Sorry
