Here is a vid of the first ten minutes of the Snes RPG Lufia & the Fortress of Doom.
I only recently acquired this one, so it's not one that holds any nostalgic value for me. I did rent it's sequel back in the day, and would love to show vids of that one, but I have it not. I got this one, oddly enough I bought it used a a K-Mart a few years ago. That's right, K-Mart used to sell used games. Don;t ask me why, but I don't regret pouncing on this one even though I wanted the sequel more.
This game starts out as if you're playing the end of a previous RPG. Instead of telling you about how four warriors defeated the evil Sinistrals, the game actually allows you to play it instead. In fact, I won't even get to the actual main character in this game in this vid.
This one, from what I've played of it seems to be a decent RPG. I've read mixed user reviews on it, but it's got some good things going for it from what I've played of it so far.
It's certainly not my number one Snes RPG pick, but it's still worth a look if you're into the charm of 16-bit RPGs.
NOTE: I scroll the text about as fast as I read it, which may be too fast for some of you. If I'm going too fast, you may want to pause the vid to read all the text. Sorry, but I'm under a time limit in the vids, so I can't stop to show text for any longer than it takes me to read it myself.

starting off that powerfully is certainly an interesting concept. yet another game to add to my list. thank u again. so would u say this game is average, having no real groundbreaking concepts but no major problems? your opinion highly influences my decision
You shouldn't let my opinion influence you. I'm just another gamer with likes and dislikes like you.
As for this game, I honestly haven't played that far into it. I started again last night (I had played a little bit into it years ago, but had forgotten all bout it), so I honestly haven't played a enough to make a final assessment.
So far, it's not revolutionary, but it's a solid experience.
thank u. and about opinion, thats just it! our likes and dislikes are similar which is y i care. im not saying we'll always agree, u may like a game that i dont, but for the most part we agree. i bought and enjoyed 4/4 games that u recommended

However, this game has some serious random battles. Some times I get in a fight, take two steps, and I'm in another fight. It gets a little insane.
