The masjid al aqsa deception

This video is in response to a ppt that I was sent, in which masjid Al Aqsa is been shown to the masses as a masjid with a gold dome. This is in fact not masjid Al Aqsa as any Palestinian will tell you, but there are people who wish you to believe that it is. Therefore this video hope to redress this issue to the masses of Muslims who mistakenly believe that Masjid Al Aqsa has a gold dome. The aayat at the end refers to the blessed night journey undertaken by our beloved Prophet Muhammed (peace and blessings be upon him). Where he prayed as the imam for all the prophets at masjid Al Aqsa

Can someone explain this to me, There is only place where the Jews have their temple, and it has been built upon by another religious group which draws some of its heritage from the same source as the Jewish believers, and yet the two groups can't share the same location for worshipping the same God ?
