My 2000 dodge ram 3.9L v6 is making a funny tickin noise. only has 69k miles. isn't effecting rpms or anything, drives fine. i couldn't tell ya if it ticked while i drove to much noise. any ideas? oh btw i said "spraying my timming belt, i ment belt tentioner

  • nope. its my tentioner pully. for some reason, it just stopped. I think it has something to do with the cold b.c it stopped when the weather changed

  • probably an exhaust leak most likely, so have you ever pulled a car on a car hauler with that v6?
