I remember this. I never had a GI Joe — my parents thought he was too warlike for a kid my age (5 or 6 at the time!) — but I always enjoyed the commercials. Thanks for bringing this back.

@Banjomountain Okay. I think i was almost 9. Possibly 1967. Or maybe it was filmed in 66.You are probabnly right. Would like to know more things about capture hill 79.Know now it was the biggest toy promotion and contest for toys.

@saltaeb99 Well this commercial has to be at least '66 cause that was the year the sea sled and the space capsule was released by Hasbro.
