@hamgatan No, the film conflicts with the stage production.  On stage, it ends when Meg finds the mask. There is nothing about Raoul and Christine being married or about Christine dying.

@kakaroxox I agree that Karimloo's voice is better, but the acting in the film is so much better than any stage performance I have seen. That goes for all the actors.

@AngelOfMusic4life oh and also, this version of events actually conflicts with the original story slightly, because if you look at the dates on Christine's gravestone when Raoul visits it in the Phantom, you will see she lived a total of 63 years - Which means if we follow the Love Never Dies story, means the events in the Phantom happened when she was 53...? Glad they checked that one :)

@AngelOfMusic4life can answer this and my post below but beware - MASSIVE SPOILER ALERT!! Yes there is a child, Gustave, which Raoul thinks is his.. but its actually the Phantom's. This comes to light. Raoul and the Phantom vy for Christine's love till the end which comes down to a final ultimatum from both parties. Christine chooses the Phantom. Out of sheer jealousy, Meg Giry kills Christine by accident (as she was in love with the Phantom too).
