New amateur footage of the moment the tsunami wave struck Japan has been released. As witnesses exclaim the size and power of the wave is almost unbelievable.

More and more harrowing tales and pictures are emerging as Japan begins to count the cost of the huge earthquake which started the huge surge as the sea washed over the island.
