Kristen Stewart On Set Interview The Runaways -- For more movie news, trailers, and interviews go to http://www.collider.com -- When a movie is filming, the studio will conduct interviews with the actors for what's called an EPK (electronic press kit). This is released to the press when the movie is getting ready to be released as a way to help promote the film. With The Runaways about to get released, Apparation has provided us with an on set interview with Kristen Stewart. She talks about playing Joan Jett and the making of the film.

Here's the official synopsis:

THE RUNAWAYS is a music-fueled, coming of age story of the groundbreaking, all girl 1970s rock band. Los Angeles 1975, Joan Jett (KRISTEN STEWART) and Cherie Currie (DAKOTA FANNING), two teenage valley girls with punk in their blood, meet and become the heart and soul of the seminal all girl band, The Runaways. Floria Sigismondi brings THE RUNAWAYS to the big screen in this story of a group of extraordinary young women as they rise from rebellious Southern California kids to rock stars of the now legendary band that paved the way for future generations of girl musicians. Under the Svengali-like influence of rock impresario Kim Fowley (MICHAEL SHANNON), the group evolves into an outrageous success and a family of misfits. With its tough-chick image and raw talent, the band quickly earns a name for itself-and so do its two leads: Joan is the bands pure rock n roll heart, while Cherie, with her Bowie-Bardot looks, is the sex kitten.

Kristen should do more movies like this. You can tell she really enjoyed acting in this movie. In Twilight, it's apparent that she doesn't really want to be in that movie.

My god, she resembles Joan so much!!! In all the original and movie runaways interviews, both Joan (back then) and Kristen act alike so much. From the way she sits, the way she talks...
