A demonstration of how to recover files from a failing hard disk in Linux. We first image the hard disk using ddrescue (canceling after a few megabytes to keep the demo short) and then we recover files from that image using Foremost.

im trying to recover a dead hard drive. but have no idea what OS to install dd rescue on. do i install it on mac or windows?
