0:37, in those pictures, most of the people there were killed by knife crimes outside schools, for instance, the boy next to the question mark, was killed last year or something via stabbing

you guys are funny, you think an object commits a crime, and instead of hitting the problem head on, you go after the object.
You must find the root of the problem, drugs, lack of parental supervision, peers, neighboorhood? also what about the suppliers of guns drugs? make the penalty so severe, that many will quit.
But nooo, let's go after a gun, that does nothing, without a finger on the trigger..lol

i like the statements 'carrying a gun does not make you cool'....well obvously the people carrying them possibly think it does....or at least attach a real value,or use to having a gun. just because its your point of view shouldnt make it stated fact on a video.

You CAN'T get rid of guns in any possible way.
Criminals or outlaws will ALWAYS have guns unless something deadlier comes along.
The only difference is whether regular citizens are allowed them or not.

I recently found out another reason why the murder numbers are so different from the US. The reason that is is because the UK calculates the murder numbers by actual convictions of murder. Manslaughter and suspicious deaths (no suspect) are not calculated in murder figures. In the US all violent deaths regardless of conviction or suspect are calculated as murder So the UK has an "at least" quote and the US has an "at most" quote on murder

You people in England should realize that prosecuting a criminal for the tools he uses is really stupid because these tools can generally be used for non criminal activities. Or are you people also going to make crowbars and lockpicks illegal.
Prosecute the criminal for his real crimes: murder, robbery, burglary, etc

A crowbar can be used for non criminal activities, so can a knife, which is why we generally stipulate were and when you ought to be in possession of a knife or crowbar and so on.
For instance, its not right for people to be in pubs or clubs carrying knives.
Anyone found in a pub with a knife, is probably going to be prosecuted.
Anyone carrying a knife in the street is going to be prosecuted.
Anyone with a gun will get 5 years jail.

I don't want a gun myself, but if things get worse, I'll revise my views. Even then, I'd only consider it if it was legal.
Having a gun might make things worse, but it depends on your character and frame of mind. As it stands, if I'm burgled or mugged, I've got a bunch of keys, and whatever household goods.
What worries me is that legal guns get stolen and become illegal. This leads to the call for more guns to fend off the scum with stolen guns.
How many guns are stolen each year in the USA?

Well, now that we've caught the killer and his chums, you can debate the gun argument if you so wish.
It was just a bit insensitive to debate guns when the killer was out there, with a gun!
That said, its possible that the criminals would be less inclined to invade property, private or commercial, if they thought the honest man and women would have a fighting chance.
The mob in the park might not be inclined to stamp on someone's head if the old man limping towards them is aiming a gun.
