  • This camera is a Guppy, but I do not recommend it. It is a bit weak. Suggest you to find any Flea from PointGrey.

  • what camera are u use?

  • Of course... This system is running at 6 fps! The detection is ranging from 2 up to 6 meters because of the vision. This LIDAR is a SICK LMS200, and costs roughly 2.5K euros. This LIDAR works up to 80 meters, but for a more accurate result 20 meters is the maximum.

  • can you give more details about this project? (time to detect, max. distange of working LIDAR)

and how much does a LIDAR like this costs?

  • Thanks... Actually, this is a preliminary system. I am working on a more complex and contextual system, by now, on my PhD. Soonish, I will upload a new video on my results!

  • Wonderful how Lidar is implemented for this purpose
