so being a vegan is not the answer, I afraid.

devadata was vegan but he was very bad person who wanted to harm the BUDDHA. And the Buddha was NOT vegan!!!!

@DuttyBoukman Hi Dutty, I just want you to understand of a few different spelling from 3 LANGUAGES! In Vietnamese Spelling Quan Yin but actually the G was missing it suppose to be "QUAN YING Phu sah" in Madarine Chinese let say "Qua ye HUA" Quava, is that same sound? So with the Q is alright! & in Cantonese "KUN YAM" now it will SOUND the K. Now the Ying sound YAM in Cantonese, so you have to learn some more, it always good for some comment, So now I can let you know from 3 different languages!

It is NOT spelled with a "Q". It is either Kuan Yin or Guan Yin. The "Q" in Chinese is pronounced with a "ch" sound, thus her name would br pronounced "Chuan Yin".

DON'T SPELL IT WITH A "Q"!!!!!!
