How To:
Interlace your fingers and position the outer edges of your hands onto the ground with your elbows angled out into a V shape. Tuck your chin into your chest and place the crown of your head onto the mat. Wrap your hands around the back of the head for support and tuck the toes, lifting the knees off the ground while straightening the legs. Try to align your hips over your shoulders and breathe.

  • I don't know why every one dislikes this video. The sequence is correct for strengthening the muscles needed to do the headstand. I think they should be more descriptive in their explanation, but what they're saying is correct. It is excellent for beginners to strengthen their shoulder muscles.

  • @Iloveme362 Half headstand (it's in the title)... But this is very good practice and should be done before moving to the next step which is the actual headstand.
