  • A few things i noticed while watching that.

You're either a canon fan or that's not your camera. You treat the stuff like its a cheap toy or something. Especially when you slammed the flash closed.

Another thing I've realised lately is that Nikon really don't know how package their products. I don't believe their still using those egg carton material crap. Also the camera is wrapped in a plastic bag and not in one of those

  • Actually, I'm a Nikon user (D3, D700, D200, plus S5 Pro) and an NPS member. I don't baby my cameras, they're tools and I make them work.

  • whats with throwing stuff around? its not the end of the world but it doesnt hurt to treat things better.

  • seriously, i always treat my stuff sooo well, even like the bubble wrap and the bags. I fold em' and put em away =p

  • @904SF If you are satisfied with 5 megapixel, yes... If not, you must to buy FX lenses...

  • @Y3KHmongMusician the problem is that when u use a DX lens on a FX camera you will never shoot the pic at 12.1 megapixel and it will be cropped. I haven't experienced any vignetting with my D700, except with cheap lenses at high aperture.Problem is: It pretty much crops down the pic to a 7-8mp. So buy a d300 if DX lenses is all u have

  • obsessive compulsive maybe?....

    naah just kidding XD

  • You can use DX lenses on an FX body but you might get some vignetting. Each lens varies. If you don't mind taking the time to crop every image you take then using a DX lens shouldn't be a huge concern for you.

  • it will work but crop away the edges...

  • whats better? the d300 or the d700? If I have a dx lens then will it work good on the fx d700?

  • does this thing come with a kit lens? if so what kind

totally agree with you guys. This is why we receive occasonal defective cameras... there was some one in the factory who treated cameras like this..

It also makes me wonder of guys who call in saying that some item(s) were missing upon purchase.. Hmm,,, check again, you're the one who probably lost it by throwing things out the box..lol
