Ron Paul Doesn't "Accept" Evolution?!?

Another one bites the dust. Ron Paul was asked whether he supported the teaching of evolution, and this was his response.

For those who are claiming that evolution is "JUST" a theory... did you even watch the video? Saying something is "just" a scientific theory is like saying that it's "just" a theory that the sun is the center of our solar system, and the earth revolves around it. Dr Paul is an embarassment to primates, invertebrates, and the AMA. That he opined a disbelief in evolution, after practicing medicine for decades, is stunning. The very process by which the discharge from an infection is cultured in a lab, then subjected to various antibiotics in order to determine sensetivity (so you recieve the correct drug) is, in fact, evolution!

He was a kid a long time ago, probably in a very religious texas familily, maybe science is not his thing, maybe he hasnt cheked his thoughts about evolution that much. Im convinced he could be taught. But its not the important issue here. We, goodheart, "smart" people of the world have to unite to give the power to good politicians like Ron. Im not going to keep watching this video. Have you seen wich candidates you have? Guantanamo not closed, Irak war not ended, you are getting close to a war with iran.
