  • They should seriously remake this MG on the PS3. It deserves one

  • I agree, a cinematic experience of this game would be perfect. Plus it would be great to see David Hayter play as a young inexperienced Solid Snake. They probably could combine the events of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 into one remake with 2 parts (similar to how Metal Gear Solid 2 had the tanker mission and plant mission).

  • I disagree in the inthe PS3 remake, this game is fairly to small even with both MG and MG2SN come togetter for a PS3 port.

I do agree in the remake part but it would rather be a PSP remake or even a NDS (hell if is MG Im there) because even for both games combined it would still be a small game and a portable remake would be the best course of acton.

Besides a we all know that the PS3 (and 360) MGS game will be RISING so pretty doubthfull that this game(s)will make it in a next gen console.

  • I don't mean a carbon copy of the game, I'm talking about a completely new game from scratch based on the original. They would most definitely make the game longer, add characters and a lot of other elements to separate it from the MSX version and to keep it fresh.

As for Rising, yes it doesn't look like it will be a remake, but Kojima is a master at swerving people so until further details come through, we won't really know.

  • Yeah, I didn't like the way Twin Snakes came out either. But a remake of the original Metal Gear is much different than remaking Metal Gear Solid. MGS remade into Twin Snakes was just a slight improvement in production quality due to the upgraded hardware, all the cut-scenes were basically the same. A remake of the MSX Metal Gear would require lots of additional dialogue and action sequences, which would make it almost a whole new game, and would maintain Solid Snake at the same time.

  • 2:57 - "What was that noise?"

  • @AqualungGameReviews i say make a three game 3d remake collection kind of like they did recently with the HD Collection. But have it include Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake and Metal Gear: Ghost Babel (a game boy color game only released in Japan) all completely remade into 3d graphics for both the ps3 and 360

  • 1:47 ITS A TRAP

  • You sound like you're from New York.

  • I agree, but they should have an option to switch between Japanese and English audio.

  • @AqualungGameReviews Totally agree. I think they could also add more before the start where you play as Big Boss slowly transitioning from honourable into villainous. Then switch characters to Snake and go through the MG1 and MG2 scenarios.

  • Hahaha the guy sends you to save his daughter, and when you come back to him he's still tied up. You don't even untie him!

  • @AqualungGameReviews i really don't have a ps3 i play my copy of mgs4 on my bros ps3 i think it should be released on ps2

  • @AqualungGameReviews i agree about what you say bu they should release a graphical uplift of mg1 and mg2 for the ds making it 16 or 32 bit like they did for FF1+2 dawn of souls for the gameboy Adv. and make it kinda 3d or release mgs for the ds like Resident Evil Ds and put mg1 and mg2 on the release as a extra

  • you people do know the original is actually on the wii, but in japan =( only
