Simple PC App Access from Anywhere

OnLive has just re-imagined what's possible on iPad with the OnLive Desktop app, available soon in the iTunes App Store. Launching a brand-new chapter for OnLive (and everyone), OnLive Desktop gives users instant access to a seamless Windows desktop experience, with full-featured Microsoft Office applications and 2 GB of free cloud storage for secure file access anywhere. Need to edit a Word doc with redlines and comments? No problem. Need to give some oomph to that PowerPoint deck for your meeting? Go for it: present animations and slide transitions, edit diagrams and embed videos. Desperate for a pivot table in Excel? Pivot away ... Anything you can do on your office desktop, you will be able to do on your iPad—at home, in your hotel, anywhere.

  • Erm.. No one mention Splashtop to them?

  • i still miss the brag clip of the week stuff.

  • @OmegaShootsCA I didn't say that what they are doing is futuristic but the concept is, and yes I know about teamviewer and Steam but this is much more different. As for teamviewer, it and LogMeIn (which I have and use almost everyday) I do admit that they do the same remote PC controlling but for it you are only controlling your computer, but as far as I know Teamviewer doesn't stream sound from your PC and LogMeIn does but you have to have Pro which costs lot, this is free. For steam you have

  • @OmegaShootsCA some people have bad computers you know.. onlive allows them to run games that they otherwise cant. steam is just a store it still uses computer hardware to run games. teamviewer i will agree but nothing is wrong trying to tap into a relatively new market

  • @stike96

    What's so futuristic about this?

They let you buy games, and also have a remote desktop application?

Steam, and teamviewer ring a bell?

They were here way before OnLive.

    What an idiot you are.

  • Everybody wants Office for iOS.
