  • saturn win??

  • ease of removing occupants is first priority, life is more important than car parts. Its much easier to lift injured people straight up, you cause them less injury, are less likely to aggravate injury's and you also have more leverage for lifting with out the roof.

  • @origionalwinja lol, you dont need the roof anyways, just turn it into a summer car...convertable :P

  • poor saturn :(

I don't think your comments are absurd. I guess you simply rather a different brand or style.

I also think that some imports might be more reliable than American cars.

My family has owned 3 Saturns and they have been great vehicles so far. Virtually, zero problemsand still loking in great shape.

Someone else might have a different experience and he/she might be justified thinking the opposite.

  • @ytbmmvi

Could be....I mean they were well built... And I hate the fact that so many Americans lost their jobs at GM.... I had a Saturn Vue a year or so ago and it was pretty solid....Guess I should study a bit more before posting absurd comments yeah?

  • @scott93257

I believe the survivor of this crash (and his or her family) think exactly the opposite.

I wonder if there's any other compact car that could have saved this person's life.

Look at the damage in the semi!!! If it wasn't for this video you would think that it hit a big vehicle.

I think saturns were reliable vehicles but their designs were almost the same for too long. They made their nicest vehicles too little too late.

Too bad for GM and the thousands of unemployed GM assemblers

  • thats cool

  • If the driver had been driving anything else he would not have survived. Saturns were built around a safety cage. I've been driving them since 1987. Bought my fifth one in 2003 (new). It just rolled over 100K miles and still runs and looks great. I feel so safe driving it. It's a crying shame they changed the way they were built and started using existing GM models as patterns. I'll probably keep this one for at least another 100K then get a Kia or a Hyundai. Both are #1 in safety ratings

  • @DrSurprise

    They probably wont bother.....

  • @yokohamaguy75

Saturns were pretty much crap....but that doesn't say anything about newer American cars...Saturn was pretty much a flop....That's why GM discontinued them
