In this part, we pick up the Ice Beam primarily, with very little fanfare. It's really one of the most useless beams in 23%...what a shame. After that, we head down into the Mines, home of a few insanely difficult combat situations, and at the end, the hardest part of this run. Next time, we'll pick up something from the previous game...something insanely destructive. Do you know what I'm talking about?

Yeah, I'm going to say now, viewers, this gate hop shouldn't be as hard as many make it out to be, but that's due to a lack of information about how to do it right. Once you know the guidelines, you'll get it in a few tries, no problem. First rule, get the camera at an acute angle to the gate. Second, perform the jump near the top of the slope, and very close to the gate itself. Finally, this is a fast double bomb jump. This means you lay your final two bombs closer together than a normal bomb jump. This gives you extra momentum, meaning extra height. This jump is nearly identical to the Runic Gate hop I did in part 1.

PS, yes I know I missed picking up an Artifact on my way to the Beam. I'll have to go back and get it later.
