  • Looks interesting. It would be good if you explained why one was better than the other in the vid, rather than just taking it on face value.

  • @express375 I did, the link for the full post is in the description

  • makes sense, because in the 'bad' way you are twisting your spine?

  • @2112mike yes, twisting your spine with your hips locked in place AND with additional weight

  • Man where do you get all of this ideas? its awesome!

  • Pro strat

  • Slick!

  • @TheAmericanCreep ah i get it. you're forcing your core to stay right with recistance from that cable, it also engages the obliques

  • yes, this is a much better stabilization movement due to taking out the rotational and shear forces in a weight bearing position. Very bad on the disc in the first movement. Nice Video Smitty!

  • @TheAmericanCreep yes sir

  • IS the other varitaion dangerous aswell? The varitiaon where u go half way down, lock ur core and rotate left and right. Decline russian twist i think it's called.

  • @keanukuh I think the second way is an anti-rotation exercise forcing you to engadge your obliques. The first way with locked hips sheers your discs/vertabrae......I think ?!?!?
