yes, this is a much better stabilization movement due to taking out the rotational and shear forces in a weight bearing position. Very bad on the disc in the first movement. Nice Video Smitty!

IS the other varitaion dangerous aswell? The varitiaon where u go half way down, lock ur core and rotate left and right. Decline russian twist i think it's called.

@keanukuh I think the second way is an anti-rotation exercise forcing you to engadge your obliques. The first way with locked hips sheers your discs/vertabrae......I think ?!?!?
Looks interesting.It would be good if you explained why one was better than the other in the vid,rather than just taking it on face value.
