  • I think porting this game to the gamecube was definitely a good idea, as the characters and visuals looked better! But making it a Star Fox game was totally unncecessary! Just because a character looks like one of your own company mascots Miyamoto doesn't mean you have the right to replace him!

  • @Hethrin Damn right you could have

  • Every time I watch this, I feel like it's a NEW N64 game coming out. Sigh. My childhood...

  • @Ketorulz Yeah, but it was because nintendo didn't want to rare make it a "microsoft game" and they put starfox characters........

  • @ACluelessKid Yeah, like for instance I would have BOUGHT it if it wasn't a crime against all things Starfox.

  • People would have eaten this game up as a stand-alone. As a Star Fox game though, it feels out of place..

  • some people comments on the dinosaur planet page of unseen64 that they got some for sell or trade.

If could be true would be fantastic that someone leak it :)

  • We can hear at some points Conker's music :)

The catch is, if you find a beta cart, it isn't going to have the nice, neat final artwork sticker on it. Usually, it's completely blank except for maybe a label with an internal serial number on it. You won't know what game it is until you pop it in. If you are lucky, it will have the name in pencil on it.

Lots of times it's a beta of an already released game. Sometimes it's an actual unreleased game. Sometimes it's a game that only people in the company got (back in the 80's, Pepsi commisioned Namco to make a Pac-Man game with a Pepsi theme, only people in the company got it.)

Sometimes you even find demo carts. The demo cart for Turok 2 for the Nintendo 64 was a beta version of the game. These were used in stores, but sometimes people got them.

  • @Draknfyre I'd seriously shit my pants in public if I was at a yardsale and I found a cart of this game.
