N.O. schools are suffering & Louisiana has a surplus of billions of dollars, but the governor (Kathleen Blanko) says she will not use any of the states surpluss to help New Orleans schools.

That action will only create more dropouts who will only have the streets as an option. So the governor is contributing to the high crime rate in N.O. but no one talks about that. Not even Mr. Anderson Coope

You are right, schools should be a primary concern for any politician worth his or her name in N.O. history; but the whole of New Orleans is a mess and there are many problems that need to be addressed: Trailers being one of them. Anderson addresses some problems, other reporters should address others. The problems in N.O. require more than one reporter to "Keep Them Honest."

Stop the jargon, what do you mean by "he doesn't hold any water"? He doesn't mention the issues that allow the problems in New Orleans to perpetuate. It would be a big story if he would shine light on it. It's the politicians & rich hotel owners who benefit from uneducated New Orleanians. They benefit from poor uneducated people who were let down by the poor school system. It's about a scheme to keep cheap labor in New Orleans by keeping the school system poor.

anderson cooper FROM CNN IS A SELLOUT!! Did you see his latest report about New Orleans? He didn't talk about the slow recovery & real issues. He talked about broken fema trailors being sold on auction websites,he didn't mention the school system or the slow recovery.

These kids in New Orleans are getting messed over by our government officials and fake ass anderson cooper doesn't really care. He said he was "keeping them honest" but he's all talk.

Anderson Cooper was at that time in New Orleans to report about the FEMA trailers being sold, thus making an attempt to "Keeping Them Honest."

"[T]he slow recovery & real issues" you mentioned would take a full show on their own account. And he has done just that in various occations.

Your "fake ass anderson cooper" doesn't hold any water unless you are coming from a place where your main interest is insulting Anderson, not the well being of New Orleans.

I'm just waiting for someone to start telling the real truth, & since Mr. Cooper said he was "keeping them honest", I though the hidden truths about New Orleans politics was about to come out. The only curruption people hear about is politicians taking bribes & then resigning, but that does nothing for the citizens who are living in terrible conditions that they have no control over.

Oh ok I understand what you're saying. I'm not trying to insult Mr. Coopoer. I was a little frustrated at the media for not reporting on the issues that people don't hear about like the inequality of education for some people vs education for others. Education is the foundation for a successful life & minorities are the ones whos schools are not supported, thus breeding unsuccessful lives that could have been successful had there been less curruption in the city.
