Ej200ce Test

Hey Its Jake Clements. I got this guitar about a week ago and its awesome. Its an Epiphone Ej200ce but the strange thing is its not all maple, Its got mahogany back and sides and a spruce top. It was used, but the thing sounds great. Tell Me what u think. Sorry about the headbobbin and strange face, frankly when i play i dont know what im doin haha, Couple mess ups but who cares.

whats the differnce between the ej200 and ejce model? does the ce means its both accoustic and electirc?

Sounds very bright and tinty. Im guessing its got a cheap laminated top. Even my 200 dollar Takamine sounds fuller with more resenance. But its the looks that count right?

yea ik what you mean, partly its the crappy sound quality cuz of the webcam but, i have a martin 12 string i got for my birthday and beats the shit out of this thing without question... Its all good though i only paid 250 for this haha

the ej-200ce is a different body style than the ej-200 that's the difference

I'm not sure that you have a genuine Epiphone, because I can't see the neck pick up, and I know as a fact that the acoustic (the ce being electro acoustic) doesn't have a cut away.

As in Epiphone Jumbo Cutaway Electric EJ CE.

The Gibson is the SJ, because when it first came out it was bigger than the Jumbo model and was called the Super Jumbo. SJ. Of course the Gibby is a lot more bread. And slightly deeper tone maybe.

let me guess, the action on this guitar is very low, cause i'm hearing some tin & buzz. not bad. but the tone not to great for an acoustic guitar. no sustain for one.
