@bandslater awesome. Still if interested go check out "fresh cream" album. It opened my eyes to realizing that Ej's (lead tone) is not really unique at all. He uses Clapton's tone with some reverb and delay. And then he uses Hendrix's fuzz tone (which he now uses more than the former). His clean sound though is still the absolute cleanest, fattest, sound I've ever heard. It sounds like glass.

@TheElectromagnet I did say he has had a lot of influence, i didnt say sounds just like him. You can hear it in is pentatonic runs, very similar, as is the amount of reverb-delay he uses. Also some of his chord choices are ver EJ influenced. Bonamassa says it himself.

@bandslater lol. Based on your comment I went and checked out Joe Bonamassa. He sounds nothing like EJ. He sounds ALOT like old Clapton from the Cream days which is where EJ HEAVILY HEAVILY HEAVILY HEAVILY pulls his lead sound from.

So obvious that Joe Bonamassa has had a LOT of influence from this guy. Although he is never that high up his list of influences. Sounds more like EJ than anyone else lol

Yeah since watching this I've seen Trower's version. I like it a little more than King's.
