Tomorrow I'm gonna watch Hellzapoppin' in cinema with a two hours Lindy Hop dancing course before the movie and a swing party afterwards with the Gordon Webster Quintett (USA / live)!!!

True....I was a dancer in the younger days and could do a pretty mean Lindy (while weighing 102 pounds), but nothing within a mile of 'Whitey's'. They were the best. Even today, at 114 pounds, I tried a few steps after seeing this video, and almost ended up in the E.R.!!

@DrakkarVance those were very racist times, but we get the last laugh because this is the most viral part of that movie, a 5 minute scene from a 1:30 minute movie... reproducing over the internet, and through documentaries into dance history as one of the greatest choreographed routines ever caught on film...

i love the "slip" 1:42... and also any one else flip on the camera work - give that director a slap on the back, because he knew exactly how to place the camera to get all of the dance and the choreo PERFECTLY...

@TheLostSniper47 ...It is not sped up and it most certainly is real. You'll see that if you watch the people in the background. Whitey's Lindy Hoppers were the BEST EVER at this type of dancing. To put this another way, DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!!! Whitey's Lindy Hoppers are trainied professionals and are not responsible for any injuries you may sustain while trying to do this.
