Anastasia was killed along with the rest of the Romanovs when their captors realized they would lose. She was stabbed, but near the end her and her sister Maria were still showing signs of life, moving and screaming. They were then beaten till dead

@MermaidBlueFins No, sorry to burst your bubble but they found Maria's pelvis and spine which suggested that the remains were of Maria because of fusion and age. If you don't believe me you should go onto the Official Romanov forum at Alexander Palace .org. Everyone on there is an a mature or a full Romanov Historian and they all agree it was Maria and Alexei that was found and Not Anastasia and Alexei. Even in the Russian News it was stated it was Maria and Alexei that was found in 2007.

@MermaidBlueFins No it wasn't Maria! They said the the bodies that were found were too tall to be a 17 year old(which was how old Anastasia was at the time) plus Anastasia was short, which none of the bodies found were.

@AzulaLover1 The imperial family and the servants were bashed in the face and heads with the rifle butts. So bad that the faces were not recognisable. Check out forum.alexanderpalace. com which is about Anastasia and her family and the events of what happened.

@AzulaLover1 No it was Maria's bones that was found, not Anastasia. Anastasia was found along with the rest of the family and humble servants. And no she didn't survive. The lady in waiting fainted during the first attack. When she came around she said "Thank God he spared me." Which resulted in the lady in waiting being bayonetted and all the other people in that room (except the killers) being stabbed to death and being bashed with the butts of the rifle. So no one was alive.
