i have a chevy blazer with a 4.3 vortec that when warmed up runs at 20 psi and it has a high volume oil pump which is what your truck has so your fine as long as it doesnt go below were its at nothin to worry about
Could be an oil pressure sending unit not properly reading pressure. You would have to hook up an oil pressure meter to the engine, verify pressures at specific RPM and compare. If you have high mileage and overhaul might be needed. Sensor is my first bet...Enjoy

bad main bearings will make pressure drop at low rpm.... usually more pronounced when warmed up, less when cold.
