  • Thanks very much for sharing, I really enjoyed it!

  • @RudeMechanic You're most welcome. One of Michael's earliest and best performances of Rickover's Dream can also be found on the same album. I'll upload it soon!

  • I dont know how many people are aware of this but this is slightly fast so the pitch is slightly higher. Im assuming it was recorded on a reel to reel or cassette tape. If you listen to all the performances off this record they're all fast.

  • Is it only me who listen to this music as watching a scientific masterpiece?

God damn it Michael, wake up!

  • Great piece!

  • Unbelievable.

  • the most amazing thing about this version is that the sound of his fingers hitting the strings makes it sound like the backwards guitar of the original. Utterly incredible, I would kill to see video of this track live, but unfortunately I don't think any footage exists. Legendary stuff, more people need to know about this.

  • @FireGirlG hey there, just noticed your comment, check out the channel by 'rlutge', seems he gave michael the gig at the new varsity back in the day and he's got loads of live stuff posted!

    ^_^

  • It's recordings like this that make me wish that Michael recorded and released more of his live performances. Some of the things he did live were extraordinary and often rather different than the studio recording. Personally, I believe this blows the studio recording out of the water. The piano is to die for.

  • I love it, it's the most beautiful ,new age' or ,acoustic' track live ever... it has soul, sound & motion, and the piano is absolutely magic!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • what a beautiful composition!

  • Your cellphone vid is a great compliment to the music. Nice touch.
