It's 2009, and I'm playing Karateka on my 1984 Apple IIe!

  • This idiot apparently seems to have NO IDEA how to use a computer. Mr. Creepy hands is back at it again....

  • @HowToEatWaffles HAHAHA! That made me laugh! I guess I do have creepy hands, but your other comment is so wrong - it was having this computer that led me into a successful and still ongoing 25 year career in computers!

  • Cracked software too...hmm, what was your full address and name again?

  • @fightforyourrights9 Yeah, that game really rocks!

  • Damn, I wish my Mom hadn't gotten rid of our Apple II. Karateka was the balls.

  • Nice pristine setup.

  • @GunShip03

    It wasn't.

it was MADE on the Apple || (and then ported to other systems)

  • I didn't know this game was ported to the Apple IIe!

  • God Bless Steve Jobs, he's a saint, but he never did like video games. The Atari 800 just killed the Apple II on games. Of course, the flip side is that Atari was never taken seriously as a computer company, while Apple was able to successfully break into the nation's schools. So there's a give and take there. The home computers of the 1980s were a unique breed, really wonderful. Thanks for sharing!

  • Nice setup.. I had the same back then. I am sharing this link with a few folks today
