On the Rocks

The short film we intend on producing will be called \"Alco\". It will follow two men with very different lifestyles over the period of two days. One of the men is a homeless person while the other is an upper class
business man. They are both alcoholics. The film aims to play on the common perception that more often than not, alcoholics are people that can be found drinking their lives away in the gutter. This film aims to convey the message that, although more socially acceptable, a wealthy person with a nice home and a good job that spends his wages binge drinking with friends every night, in reality, is no different to the less socially accepted alcoholic, who spends his days drinking his money away in the gutter. We intend on juxtaposing the two men\'s lives within the film, in order to illustrate the similarity of their respective situations. The two characters will cross towards the end of the film, and at this point they will realise for the first time, how similar they both are. Do we need to provide any more information than this?
