From the team that brought the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy to the big screen, Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films present PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME, an epic action-adventure set in the mystical lands of Persia. A rogue prince (JAKE GYLLENHAAL) reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess (GEMMA ARTERTON) and together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time - a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.

Prince of Perisa is directed by Mike Newell (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) with a cast that includes SIR BEN KINGSLEY and ALFRED MOLINA, and a screenplay by Doug Miro & Carlo Bernard from a screen story by Jordan Mechner and Boaz Yakin, PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME is in UK cinemas from May 21st.

Gemma Arterton's voice at the start has to be the most annoying voice ever! Someone else should have played the princess. She was artificial and not truly making herself believable.

@NCFirebolt21... i think the story is already change. The film has 4 stories combined. Sands of Time (main plot or the film is about the dagger of time), Warrior Within (meeting with Tamina and their adventures which makes Tamina is the Empress of Time), Two Thrones (back to the beginning or after the conquer of Alamut where in the game restore back to the beginning). PoP3D (where the Nizam kills his own brother, King Sharaman. As the game, Assan kill his brother, the Sultan)

There is a sequel if u don't know, but Gemma's character is only in the 3rd part of the trilogy. I'm only bothered if they will change the story of the next one "Warrior Within". If they do, "The Two Thrones" won't make any sense.
