The version that appeared on the album was an in-house remix, made by programmer and 6th band member Mr. Paul Billington, and produced by band manager Johnny J. The recorded drum track was completely replaced by loops and samples, a few of which made to the single mix, mixed by album producer Al Stone. The single mix of the track was the last to be finished, after the album had 'gone gold'.
It sounds pretty much the same as the album version, maybe a slight tweak with the mixing but not too much. The scratching in the middle and the guitar at the end seem to be have given a higher profile in the mix than on the album version but, as mentioned, nothing drastically different. Oh, and of course there are the obligatory random noises overdubbed to cover any of the more colourful lyrics.
He kinda reminds me of Fun Lovin' Criminals and MC 500 Ft Jesus. In a good way :) My new fave, thanks!

It does sound a bit different... there's even a "hey" from 'The Champ' (The Mohawks, sampled on Here Comes The Hotstepper) in there for some reason!
