and it's NOT a drum loop, tomorrow never knows is the first song to feature tape loops, but NOT of the instruments themselfes, they sound looped simply because ringo is the best working metronome rock music ever knew, just like paul.
the tape loops were for example of A Mellotron Mk.II, played with the "brass" tape set or An orchestral chord of B flat major and some more.
