Thank you Gxcor3. This was very helpful. My wife's E51 is now working fine for the price of some time and a Torx 6 screwdriver. It does not matter what I am fixing (car, kayak, phone...) it seems a good clean should always be the first repair step.

If you don't have any cleaning alchohol you can also use distilled water and that's easy to make yourself, it just takes a while. I cleaned a telefon using only that yesterday, but yeah alchohol is definitely better(Clean alchohol)
