i've lived on this beautiful lake my entire life and i would not choose to live any place else. great fishing, laurel park is locals only though, unless you wanna get shot.

best striped bass fishing in the world. go to the coves around the docks..don't get too close though, you will get shot. avoid places like cocktail cove for obvious reasons if you wanna fish. near buford dam there are literally catfish the size of a man.
