We have some variety of this in Arizona, its smaller though. I'm going to harvest some next spring and see if I can pin down the exact type. My dad told me when I was very young that it was called peppergrass, and I was thinking the pepper flakes you shake on pizza, because the leaves of the peppergrass look like capsicum seeds, lol.

@musicoutsidethebox boy, that was such a long time ago. the part we ate was yellow lol. I want to say yes but im not 100 percent sure. I live in arizona now, so i cant look!!

Thank you for posting this video. I used to rip this weed out of my vegetable garden, until I found out that they were edible. Now I let them grow in a designated area in the garden! Thanks to you, now I'll know how to properly prepare them.
