Evan Lysacek's (USA) freeskate at the 2009 World Figure Skating Championships in LA, that earned him the title of World Champion. He earned a total of 242.23 points beating Patrick Chan (CAN), and Brian Joubert (FRA) who took silver and bronze respectively. The last time a man from the US won the world title was back in 1996 when Todd Eldredge claimed it. Congratulations Evan, it is a well deserved title.
